by Professor Rabbi Daniel M. Zucker MEP ANA GOMES The American author Mark Twain once noted: “A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” Ms. Ana Gomes, a Euro MP from Portugal was trying to best Mark Twain on April 24 at the European Parliament as it was discussing the humanitarian situation of Iranian dissidents in Iraq. She tried to inject a bunch of lies under the stamp of the European Parliament, representing the European population, in two minutes. This Portuguese MEP introduced a litany of unfounded allegations against the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), (the main Iranian opposition movement that includes 3,500 of its members in Camp Ashraf, Iraq), as amendments to the Parliament's resolution expressing concerns at the: “Humanitarian situation of Camp Ashraf residents.” By doing so, she tried to turn the resolution upside-down so it would play perfectly into the hands of Tehran’s agents in Iraq to the detriment of the Ashraf residents who are in immediate danger of being massacred by the clerical regime and its proxies in Iraq.

The Suisse President, Hans Rudolf Merz and many others leaped for a bite of the "Yellow" cake in Durban II conference, when they decided to shake hands with Ahmadinejad, without having any strategic plan or idea of the consequences. The Durban conferences, for which the Iranian mullahs have spent millions of dollars was a very cleverly engineered setout, to create a rift among the "United Nations" and disqualify the very body on which all the Nations have created and respected fundamental Human rights ; The UN.
